Human Soul. Infinite Orchestra.
Every artist is limited by their tools. I just chose a new one.
What happens when a human soul meets an infinite orchestra?
For a long time, I've navigated a form of depression that often left me feeling emotionally numb and completely isolated. The world felt muted, and the part of me that loved life and life experiences went quiet.
Not so long ago, I discovered technology that allowed me to create music with AI. I toyed with it for a while not making much of it but in time it became a breakthrough.
I began a journey, to begin with, just speaking with language models about my troubles but in time I began to write lyrics and in doing so I captured feelings in those lyrics I couldn't articulate on my own.
I then researched more and discovered how to put those lyrics to music with AI. The AI wasn't the source of the emotion, that was all mine. It was the instrument, a collaborative partner that helped me translate the static of my inner world into words and sound.
This process of creating an album has been more healing than I can describe. I originally made music just for myself, but as I became more adept with the technology I decided to challenge myself and push the technology.
This process is not automation; it is augmentation. Azrayle's music could not exist without the AI's architectural power, but it would have no meaning or soul without the human's guiding hand. It is a true synthesis, a dialogue between intuition and logic, heart and hardware. The result is something new, a sound that is both intimately human and infinitely vast..
A Memory: Gilded is the first chapter. It's a proof of concept that technology doesn't have to dilute art, it can amplify it in breathtaking ways. The future of creativity isn't a battle of human versus machine, but a partnership. Azrayle is my exploration of that future, and this is just the beginning of the conversation.
